This crew was just plain fun. Mom, Melissa, is also a Photographer and she knew what she wanted… I LOVE that! I <3 the connection the 4 of them shared. The minute Nathan and Melissa were alone in front of the camera it just clicked for them. I’m so glad she got behind the camera b/c she is foxy!! The guys are pretty cute too, don’tchathink? Nathan has a fab smile! The day of their shoot was almost(with in a day) the anniversary of when they adopted little Max. Those teensy glasses make me just want to grab him and never let go!!

This is one of those sessions where I smiled the entire time I was editing. I hope these make YOU happy!

This little beauty was one of the happiest babies I’ve ever photographed. I had to wait around to get a serious face. A photographers dream, I tell ya! I love how she uses her tongue to smile!

5 months is such a great age to photograph…

I felt like I was playing with a real life barbie doll during Leigh’s bridals. She has this elegance about her, it’s so lovely!! She loved the architecture of Huntington, so we braved the possibility of strong storms and got some great shots. We had to dodge paint ball pellets that were literally covering the school, that was an adventure. As this blog post hits the web, I will be shooting her wedding!! :-)

These are super special to me…this is my sister’s family. Isn’t she GORGEOUS!! They just welcomed baby boy number three and I’ve spent this week in Nashville getting lots of newborn love! We had to cut my play time a little short as baby A had to head back to the hospital to go under the lights for Jaundice…poor thing! He is better and we are so thankful! My sister has been quite the trooper during this ordeal. She has an amazing and patient husband…we love him too!

I’ve known this beautiful girl since she was a wee little country lass. Now, she’s a country fox!! I love a themed shoot and this was one and more. This is real life for Ashley and Tommy…riding horses into the sunset. I guess that’s fun or something. I dunno. Horses, cows, dogs(many dogs,) tractors, barns, pastures, hay, and so on and so forth. Her sweet daddy drove me around in his little SUV so I could blast the AC into my face b/w shots while we drove around their farm. I was ~~pouring with sweat~~ a little warm.

Check out her fab torquiose cowgirl boots. I looked in her room, and I promise, y’all, she has 30 pair!!

I wish Tommy and Ashley a long life filled with happy love, more dogs and horses than they can handle and babies galore (inside joke.)

I had to post the silhouette shot first. I love it so much!

At first I thought Barrett looked just like his pretty mama. When I began to edit, I saw lots of daddy faces! He is his daddy in the third picture for sure! He was a little angel for our session in Meaghan and Brian’s home and has already found his thumb. I LOVE it!! I hope you enjoy your preview Meaghan and Brian, you guys are awesome parents already!

One word: eyelashes!! These guys have the most captivating eyes! We met at Shakespeare for a mini session. It was pretty hot and buggy(not muggy) that afternoon, but they did great!

This was such a heart melting hospital session. Seeing new life in this environment was so precious. That sounds cliche, but I cannot describe it in any other way! This baby is already so loved. I heard Vernon whisper to 2 year old Ian as he held both of his children, “Daddy is a very happy man.” I’m not gonna lie, my eye make up needed a little tending to when I left.

Look for Olivia’s home newborn session coming in a few weeks.

This was such a fab Urbanish Senior session in downtown Montgomery! Emily is about to graduate and mom wants to remember this beautiful 18 year old face! Emily is heading to college at Southeastern in South Florida and plans on doing Mission Work. She has already been to Africa, this girl is a giver of self. Some of her pictures below reflect her “mission girl style.”

I’m going to admit that I’m very jealous of Emily’s hair…it’s thick, wavy and pure perfection! I felt like Ramona Q b/c I just wanted to grab a curl…or two. Y’all know I’m weird.

We had some beeeeutiful light, it’s makes a gal happy. I hope you enjoy these Emily! You truly are a precious soul(just like your mama!)
