Cutter and Company… 6 months Montgomery, Alabama Children’s Photographer

What can I say about this angel except for the fact that he’s one of my favorite babies in the world.  Yup, he is.   He has super squeezable thighs.  Wouldn’t that be awesome if that was adored in adults as well? 😉  Did I mention the fact that he is always happy?  We stuck him in a basket several times and I’m sure he was thinking, “um, again?”  But, CB took one for the team.   My husband may make me quit this job b/c it’s giving me baby fever.

Taryn - LOVE!!!!! I cannot tell you how much we absolutely love these! Thank you so much- you did an awesome job!

Janet - I’m his great-aunt, and these pictures make me want to hop on a plane to Montgomery just to plant a big sloppy kiss on his adorable cheeks!! Thanks for taking such beautiful pictures of such a handsome lil man!!!

Robin - Taryn, these pics are absolutely beautiful. He is soooooo cute!

Lara - Adorable!!!

Miriam McCubbin - How I would love to squeeze this adorable Great Grandson!! These pictures are precious! Love to all, MawMaw

Lacey, age 5 1/2 Montgomery, Alabama Children’s Photographer

There is a BIG difference in half a year.  Lacey is the same age as my daughter, and she was a joy to photograph.  Her momma swears she is shy, but by the end of our session, she was telling me where she wanted to go next and selecting her poses.  I love it!!  It is interesting to look though pictures from beginning to end, because almost always, the better pictures are middle to end when folks begin to relax.  I learned all about Sam, the basset hound, and her gymnastics and softball.  She’s a gal after my own heart…and so is her momma, Jann.  We share a love for children’s trunk show clothing.  Maybe obsession is a better word….HA!!!

We combined a little traditional and a little vintage to pull this session together.    This beautiful girl made my job easy!

The Walker Family 5K Walk/Run

Many of you have heard about Sara Walker.  She is a wife, mother of 3, age 33, and battling stage 4 Colon Cancer.  She has tremendous faith and I know many are becoming close to the Lord because of her testimony.  Click here for her story.   She is amazing. 🙂  In Nashville, they had a big run/walk 5K last weekend.  Sara is from Montgomery and her “people” from here wanted to do something too. 🙂  The Wingard family decided to follow in Nashville’s footsteps and bring another 5K to our neck of the woods.  Many of Sara’s friends and prayer warriors came to support her.  Here are a few of my favorites from the “race.”

When my son saw this picture, he said, “mom, are you allowed to take pictures during a prayer?”  Truthfully, I felt a little guilty snapping while we were talking to the Lord, but I wanted to capture the emotion of the day.   Apparently, Ford didn’t agree. 😉

There are more pictures on my Facebook page.

The Jackson Five…Montgomery, Alabama Lifestyle Photographer…

Okay, I couldn’t resist using “the Jackson 5” in my title.  Not 5 family members total, 5 kiddos PLUS a VERY patient mom and dad.  This was more of a lifestyle session,  a type of photography aiming to portray real-life situations. First of all, you don’t get more “real” than this.  🙂   I love a photo where everyone has a different expression.    During this session, I learned that somebody is a poser and loves playing softball.  Somebody hates bugs sooo much that big, tall grass scares her. 🙁  Somebody loves to throw rocks and turkey hunt with his daddy.  I think I may have just given that one away.  Darn.  Somebody is a future actress and a lover of dogs.  Somebody is a caretaker, a leader, and a lover of laughing.  Somebody is the most patient father and never ONCE lost his cool during our two hour shoot.  Somebody is a nurturer, nose wiper, and coordinator of clothing. 😉  AND, we actually had a 8th Jackson, b/c grandma came along.   I see where dad gets his patience b/c she clearly taught him.

When we booked this session, mom wanted non-traditional studio dance pictures taken of her 4 girls in their recital costumes.   We timed it around sunset and, gee, could these girls look any prettier?

“Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

andrea - omg! beautiful!!!!! love these girls (& little boy 🙂

Linda - Allison, you captured this precious family. They are mine and I know I am prejudiced, but the photography is exceptional. Thank you for sharing.
