Q-Where will my session take place?
A-I shoot all my sessions on location, I do not have a studio. Newborn sessions take place in your home. Other sessions take place at an agreed upon location. Consider your own home, farm or special spot.
Q-How long will my session last?
A-Most family sessions last 1 and a half to 2 hours. Newborns are generally 3-4 hours. Part of the newborn session time is spent feeding and soothing.
Q-How do I schedule my newborn photo session?
A- I prefer to photograph newborns when they are 6-10 days old. This is when they cooperate best posing wise. Please contact me when you are about 7 months pregnant so I can pencil you in around your due date. When your baby arrives, let me know as soon as possible and we will schedule a specific date. Since I love lifestyle images, don’t sweat it if you’ve missed that time frame and want your new baby photographed.
Q-When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
A-I prefer to shoot maternity when mom-to-be is 30-34 weeks preg. I want to you to still be comfortable, but showing nicely!
Q-Do you offer a baby plan?
A-I offer a 45 minute to 1 hour “Simply Baby” session for my sweet little ones. They are wonderful for those who want to capture their baby’s milestones with in the first year. 4 months, 7 months and 1 year are the optimal ages, but you are welcome to choose 3, 6, 9 & 12. You have the option to purchase a storyboard with images from all 4 sessions and/or a custom baby’s first year album. Contact me for pricing…

Q-Do you travel?
A-Yes, I love to travel! Contact me for a travel quote.
Q-Do you offer mentoring to other photographers?
A-Yes. If you are outside the Montgomery area over 100 miles, please contact me for a quote.
Q-Can you give me any extra tips to make my session a success?
A- *I want your session to reflect you and your lifestyle. You are welcome to bring along an activity that might add to the fun of your time with me. Kites, playing ball…anything that makes your session unique to you!
*White tops and dark pants do not photograph well. Cream photographs better than white. Your wardrobe is very important. I have a wardrobe guide I will send when you book. Avoid clothing with writing or characters!
*I love for clients to bring a family quilt or blanket. It makes your session personal.
*Please make sure children have a good nap and meal before they come. If you do not want your children to have candy, please let me know prior to the session. Rewards are often given. (gummies & smarties)
*Please do not be late!
